Poor quality materials. ...but if you think the warranty will help, I promise you, it will NOT! After months of back and forth with my fully paid for extended warranty, they told me today that I didn't tell them about the damage quickly enough so its considered... "willful negligence" and they're not covering any repairs whatsoever. Apparently it is MY fault that the warranty that I paid for doesn't cover their furniture that it is designed to cover. My bad.
My experience with The Brick in Surrey was profoundly disappointing on multiple fronts. Not only did the delivery personnel audaciously sign for my package without my consent, but they also left it unattended outside my house, exposing it to potential theft or damage.
Despite my prompt email complaint to the head office, the response was alarmingly indifferent, lacking any semblance of concern or effort to address the issue. Even when a supervisor contacted me, the promised connection to the store manager never materialized, reflecting a concerning disregard for customer care.
The blatant mishandling of the delivery, coupled with the dismissive attitude towards customer complaints, showcases an appalling lack of responsibility and care. My trust in The Brick's after-sales service has been shattered, and I strongly advise against choosing this store for any purchases.
Furniture stores are all much the same imo. This Brick was just fine. Sales reps were helpful without being pushy. This was a busy store but we were still looked after appropriately.
Lots of veneer (so be careful ). A few nice pieces of solid wood. We bought a "Made In Canada" solid wood table so we're satisfied.
It was great shopping at Bricks today . We were assisted by Jasleen who was not only courteous but also did her best to get an amazing deal on a sectional . She also helped us get some added accessories at a very good price . We were impressed by their wonderful customer service which helped us finalize our purchase right away .
